Funded by the European Commission (H2020)

Bram Lancee (PI)

The GEMM Study (N=19,181) employs an innovative field-experimental research design that allows for the comparative analysis of hiring discrimination across 53 ethnic groups in five strategically selected countries: Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Norway and the Netherlands. Furthermore, the data allow for analysing cultural distance, religion, phenotype, as well as soft and hard skills of job applicants. The GEMM study is embedded as a work package in the GEMM Project, led by Dr. Neli Demireva.
