Bram Lancee
Bram Lancee is Humboldt Research Fellow at the research unit ‘Migration, Integration, Transnationalization’ at the Social Science Research Center Berlin (WZB) and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Sociology of the University of Amsterdam. He is also associate member of Nuffield College, University of Oxford.
Bram Lancee obtained his PhD at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy (2010). His dissertation conceptualizes bonding and bridging social capital and analyzes its impact on the labour market performance of immigrants in the Netherlands and Germany.
His academic interests include social capital and social participation, ethnic minorities and the labour market, inequality, attitudes towards immigration and ethnic diversity. Parts of his work appeared in International Migration Review, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Social Science & Medicine, Ethnic & Racial Studies and Social Science Research.
